A Letter to the People of Albany
Dear Neighbors,
Albany is more than just where we live. It is where we raise our families, build our futures, and take pride in our shared history.
As Mayor, I will lead Albany into a brighter, stronger future by sticking to traditional values such as prioritizing people over politics and using a community-centered approach to find common sense solutions that reflect Albany’s unique culture.
My office will reframe our local government in a way that is transparent about what we are doing and how we are paying for it. We will be accountable to our community for our actions and decisions and truly work for the people of Albany by focusing on providing a better lived experience in our great city.
Together we will restore the pride and spirit of Albany’s historic roots by addressing the real issues like blight, crime, and mental health challenges head-on. We will rebuild our city and move into a new season of greatness.
I believe in leadership that rises above all discrimination and judgment. Together, we will work without bias, uniting as one community to create real, lasting change.
This campaign is not about politics. It is about people. It is about us. I am ready to do the work, with you and for you.

POLICY
Public Safety
Policing in Albany has become overshadowed by two extremes: harmful confrontations with residents or delayed responses when help is needed most. Both are unacceptable, and both can be fixed with strong, fair leadership. As Mayor, I will work to rebuild public safety in a way that fosters trust between law enforcement and the community, ensuring officers can uphold the law with justice, equality, and respect. I will also remove wasteful overreach, such as traffic cameras that act as revenue traps without benefiting our city. By holding everyone, officers and leaders alike, accountable and giving our police the resources they need, we can restore safety, security, and mutual respect in Albany.

POLICY
Economic Growth and
Business
Albany has the potential to be a hub for innovation and entrepreneurship, but we need a government that supports our local businesses. That means cutting red tape, lowering taxes, and creating a pro-business environment where jobs can flourish and people can thrive. As a successful businessman, my experience in these areas will be one of our greatest assets in moving our economy in the right direction.
POLICY
Mental Health
Every person deserves compassion, understanding, and the right kind of help. We will give our local organizations the tools and resources they need to tell the difference between a mental health crisis and a criminal act, because how we respond can change the outcome of someone’s life. By putting care and intervention first, we can keep our neighborhoods safe, reduce unnecessary incarceration, and guide people toward real recovery.

POLICY
Homelessness
Homelessness is a serious issue we must address with both compassion and accountability. We will focus on long-term solutions that connect people to job training, housing opportunities, and pathways to stability. At the same time, we will protect the safety of our residential neighborhoods by preventing homeless encampments in areas where families live. By partnering with local organizations, we can provide help where it’s needed most, while keeping communities safe and ensuring taxpayer dollars are used responsibly.
POLICY
Education and Workforce
Development
Albany’s future is bright because of the young, educated workforce we have right here. With so many colleges and universities in the region, we have a unique opportunity to build a skilled workforce that will keep Albany growing. I will prioritize programs that prepare our youth for success and ensure they have the skills they need to thrive in today’s economy.
